Listen doesn't play

Recordings download the first time you play them, so you need a connection once. After that they play offline. The words are always on screen, so you can pray without the audio. In Settings > Listening you can download everything ahead of time.

I'm not getting reminders

Check that notifications are allowed for Altar Call in your phone's Settings, then set the reminder again in the app.

How do I add the widget?

On iPhone, touch and hold your home screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Altar Call. Tap the widget to open today's prayer. To show a name from your list, turn it on in the app's Settings.

I'm getting a new phone

If you use an encrypted iPhone backup, your list moves with it. To be safe, you can also export your list from Settings and import it on the new phone.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings > Erase everything. Deleting the app also removes your list. We never had a copy.

Do tips unlock anything?

No. Every prayer and feature is free. A tip is simply a thank-you.
